Kit

For the first two days we were carrying everything, so to anyone using a bag transfer service our kit list may seem limited. If we had planned to use the Sherpa Van service from the start we probably would have taken more. Having said that we were never short of anything and enjoyed not having any clothing dilemmas in the morning.

We wore

Mum	Nike shorts, Coolmax T-shirt, Zamberland leather Boots, Smartwool socks and a cotton neckerchief
Deb	Patagonia shorts, breathable sleeveless T-shirt, Salomon leather Boots, Smartwool socks, sunglasses, peaked cap and a cotton neckerchief

Carried in Debs Pack

2 waterproof jackets, First aid kit, spare socks, guidebook and maps, packed lunches and 3 litres of water, small flannel, sun tan lotion, anti midge spray, small digital camera, compass & whistle, GPS and spare batteries, mobile phone and 2 wallets. Debs trekking poles

After day 2 Mum just carried her walking poles and a small digital camera

Sent on with the Sherpa Van
